Martin Mburu is a born again Christian, who loves writing, storytelling, doodling and talking about Jesus. He lives with his family in Nairobi, Kenya. Martin has a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics and a Masters in English and linguistics. He has taught writing, English and linguistics at the university for over 15 years. Martin’s stories are on growth and challenges in the Body of Christ. The themes of his stories include identity, bondage, spiritual and emotional manipulation. His stories will be published as books and blog posts.
Judge Dogood
Judge Dogood is a fictional character created by Martin Mburu. Dogood is a God-loving, God-fearing funny man. His first name is Dogood; Judge is his nickname.
He lives by the words of Proverbs 17:22 (NIV),”A cheerful heart is good medicine,…”; Proverbs 15:13 (NIV), “A happy heart makes the face cheerful,…” He is always on the hunt for a good laugh and some mischief. Every Wednesday follow Dogood’s ventures, adventures and misadventures.
The Musings of a Non-conformist
We share thoughts and ideas on non-conformity to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2). Judge Dogood defines The Disruptor as a kind of rebellious animal that has continued to defy extinction unlike its relatives.
